How do I prepare for the Air Brush Tanning Treatment?
In order for the colour to be perfect and last, you will need to follow our instructions. The day before the appointment, scrub your body with a body scrub to remove all the dead skin (you can also book a scrub appointment at Maab for 25 KM but not the same day as the Air Brush treatment). On the day of the Air Brush appointment, do not put body cream, perfume, deodorant or wear make up. We offer disposable thongs to be used, but if you prefer to stay in your underpants, please wear dark ones as it will get stained. Wear loose, dark clothing after the air brush, as the colour requires 6 hours to develop. You will be able to take a shower 3h after the treatment. You will notice during the shower that the colour is "washing off", do not worry this is just the bronzer washing off (it was used in order to properly apply the colour) and the real colour will develop within 6h. During first shower after the treatment, just use water and your hands. Do not scrub and do not use a soap in the first shower. Hydrate your skin as much as possible as this will keep your colour lasting longer. Avoid the gym or any sort of sweating for the day that you are doing the treatment.
I am a bride-to-be and want the Air Brush Treatment for my wedding, is there a different procedure?
Yes, you will prepare the same as stated in the question above, BUT we recommend you take the Scrub+Air Brush package, 50 KM. You will come for the scrub 3 days before the wedding date, and for the airbrush 2 days before the wedding date. Lets say your wedding is on a Saturday, you will come for a scrub on a Wednesday, and the Air Brush on a Thursday. For brides, it is recommended to use the lightest colour Number 1 but you can choose whatever you prefer.
